I was 3, 4 years old when I can remember driving from the school with this giant refiners just spounting things into the sky.
Mike : I was in San Fransisco Bay area. Most of the waters there's completely unswimable.
At this point, there're actually becoming unfishable.
You don't have to be an environmentalist to have an appreciation for clean water.
Tré : I grew up in the Macino county and one of the main problems we had there was over-logging, clear cutting, compltely destroying all tyhe redwood.
We're still doing it and we're still using wood instead of looking for alternative to build our homes and buildings.
Billie Joe : When you look at what's the definition of democracy, what's it's supposed to be, it's a goverment run by the population.
Therefore, we have control of these people that are making decisions for us.
Mike : There are a lot of ways people can get involved through posting stamp-mail, through e-mail or through being a text activist.
Billie Joe : It's all connected, so we all have to be a part of the solution.
